Not only does it open our mind and heart but also opens our entire being into a world of acceptance of others and a lifetime of opportunity to learn from other cultures. Strayer took us around the world in just 10 weeks and showed us that NDNU’s Hallmark Five is indeed possible if we allow ourselves to look beyond ourselves and tolerate other cultures. Strayer’s textbook, “Ways of the World,” provided a general knowledge of the world history starting from the paleolithic era and eventually moved into the agriculture and industrial revolutions all the way to the post modern era.
